Bengali wedding is one of the most color full event where Rich tradition mixed with Rituals, and the effect of Rich tradition also effect wedding menu, although most of the case we comes out from traditional menu and Enter mixed menu ( like Chines, south Indians etc) , But some traditional Bengali family still believe in own tradition, being one of the best traditional Bengali wedding caterer in Kolkata, we often get this proposal to serve Bengali traditional wedding menu.
Here we discuss some traditional wedding menu for Bengali wedding ceremony.
1. Basmati Rice: Plain Rice is the main starting menu for Bengali marriage ceremony. As per test and quality Basmati rice best among all rice. Hot Rice with Ghee is the first menu.

2. Begun Vaja: Begun Vaja is the classical Bengali menu use as co menu with Rice along with Mug Dal.


3. Koraishutir Kachuri : Koraishutir kachuri is one of the traditional Bengali wedding menu use replacing Rice. Luchi stuffed with mashed piece is called Kachuri.


4. Aloo Dum: Aloo dum basically potatoes that are simmered in spiecy tomato with mixing with onion garlic and yogurt gravy. Allo dum have many variant like Kashmiri aloo dum, Punjabi Aloo Dum,Lakhnavi aloo dum etc.


5. Potoler Dolma: Pointed Parwal ( Potol in Bengali) stuffed with vegetable & Fish is called in Bengali in Potoler Dolma


6. Pulao: Pulao is very popular dish service with Spicey Motton Kosha & Chicken Kosha and makes a beautiful harmony.


7. Fish Paturi: Hilsha or Betki Fish with mustered Paste ( with all spice)wrapped with Banana leaf.


8. Kosha Mangsho: This refer to Traditional Spicy Bengali mutton curry. Gravy made with Onion-ginger-garlic along with different spiecy.
